Hey avocado experts, please enlighten me!
Are these avocados gone bad already or are they only overripe?
I tasted a bit and it was ok and no funky smell either. But that dark color just put me off. In the end I just sliced off the darker part and mostly just tossed them away.

yeah, I cut the dark parts off too. I think they’re fine but it’s just a mental squick. Blegh!

If I were making an avocado shake, I’d still use the whole avocado. But if I were eating it as is, I’d probably try to cut off the darker parts. In my mind I know they’re still edible, but just not very fun or appetizing to eat.
